Cakey Pops: Taking personalized desserts to a whole new level
They’re just what they sound like – bite-size cake lollipops. Cakey Pops come in Vanilla, Chocolate, Red Velvet, Green Tea and Meyer Lemon. What’s unique is they can be molded into shapes to fit any theme.
The story
After a failed attempt at making a Thomas the Train cake, Cakey Pops owner Maria Roldan had to create a new dessert and fast. After checking online for quick fixes, Roldan molded her own crumpled cake into several new shapes and frosted, much to the liking of her friends and family.
Some popular Cakey Pops custom designs include Mickey Mouse ears, martini glasses, and the simple lollipop shape. The option to personalize make any event and occasion memorable.
The flavor test
Can you imagine how thrilled my family was to take part in this “taste test”?! We all agreed the cake was very moist and the flavors were natural and rich. For my husband & I the icing amount was a smidge heavy, but kids licked their fingers clean! I liked how they are on a smaller scale then a cupcake or slice of cake and totally satisfied your sweet tooth. Just delicious!
