Kids Going Green: Tristin and Tyler will inspire your kids to be more green!

So many kids dream of having their own TV show, but Tristin and Tyler, 7 year old twin brothers, actually do — and they’re using the opportunity to are teach kids how to go green. While you can’t catch the boys on TV, you can watch the series Tristin and Tyler’s Tales from the City! online. Each episode follows the twins to a new spot in New York City where they interview people about going green, make crafts with recycled supplies and offer ideas for family-friendly activities that promote a healthy planet. Tiffany, the twins’ mom and show producer, says they decided to start the web series because she noticed a lack of green and eco-friendly themes in kids entertainment.

What you can expect: In each short-form episode Tristin and Tyler take an adventure through the city.  Whether they  are checking out cool “green” products, recycling or learning how the subway works, each episode teaches kids something about the big city and the world around us. Then, just to make sure you’re paying attention, Tristin and Tyler quiz viewers on key parts of each episode. They currently have eight episodes up on their site and on Youtube and more episodes are in the works.

  1. This is such a great idea! It’s so wonderful that your sons care so much about the environment, and doing all that they can to make other children aware of their cause.

  2. Tristen and Tyler are adorable! They are fab for the kids that’s for sure :)
